Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where is my order?
A: Most of our orders are delivered in 2-3 weeks. You will have seen this on the product page and our confirmation email, even if you didn't read our Shipping Policy. We cannot guarantee delivery times because coronavirus is affecting global logistics in unexpected ways, and the situation is constantly changing. Just because Royal Mail is delivering items on time within the UK, does not mean retailers are not having trouble getting products to their warehouses or that global couriers are protected from changing situations in countries around the world. We do not like the way Amazon or Wish does business (see below). We would rather have slower delivery and take care of people. Your order may take a few weeks to get to you, but it is on its way. We never miss an order. You can feel good about supporting a British business which takes care of its staff and being one of our many patient, caring customers.
Q: Where is my email confirmation ?
A: Please check your spam folder, then any other email address you may have used. These are sent automatically - either you gave use the wrong address or it's gone to spam.
Q: Are these wooden items dishwasher safe?
A: Nothing made of wood is dishwasher safe. Dishwashers use steam and get very hot. Steam causes wood to warp and eventually break. Use warm water and dish soap on any wooden items.
Q: Why are you more expensive than Amazon or Wish?
A: Amazon doesn't take care of its workers. We do. If you want there to only be one enormous company with insane buying power that can dictate prices because it has no competition, please shop at Amazon. Please check these stories. We are proud to be different to Amazon. We also sell great quality items that will be a joy in your kitchen for years to come. We do not sell cheap rubbish or imitations like the sellers on Wish.
Q: Why are your products coming from China?
A: Britain doesn't really make anything anymore. What it does manufacture is usually expensive, and we want to provide high quality products at a reasonable price. Most goods are manufactured in China. Check some things you like around your home and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. We have selected quality manufacturers and are constantly in contact with them.
Q: I don't see the colour I want. Will you add it?
A: No. We have selected a range of colours we think are fantastic and will either complement or blend with most kitchens. We sometimes add new colours, but we are happy with our selection and have no plans to get more.
Q: Do silicone utensils stain?
A: It's possible. Even the most famous brands of utensils don't guarantee against staining when cooking with strong colours. However, we've found the cleaning methods in this article to work really well:
